Come and join a safari to Tromsø's stunning coastal landscape full of mountains, fjords and islands, and not least, exciting history going back more than 9,000 years. The safari includes visits to the beautiful island of Sommarøy and Tove`s Glass Art and cafe.
We welcome you on our safari by minibus to the coastal and island landscape west of Tromsø. Here you will find, not only dramatic scenery, but also traces of settlement going back thousands of years. Who were the people who came before us? Why did they come? Where did they live and how did they survive? These questions and more will our dedicated and knowledgeable guide explain in more detail and try and help answer during the trip. Today's culture and settlement in these areas are also very interesting with modern fish-farms alongside traditional fishing boats.
Nature as well as culture, is an important and eye-pleasing ingredient on our safari. We make many stops in order to better touch, feel and stick to your memory card the sometimes dramatic scenery we are driving through.
At Tove`s Glass Art, there is an extended stop for Tromsø's best waffles and a look at the heaven Tove and her husband have created almost in the middle of nowhere.
